Delete your account

You can ask us to delete your Bridge Beacon account (the “Beacon Discover” app and website, a service of CliniContact LLC) and the personal data associated with it, at any time. Here is exactly how, and what is deleted.

How to request deletion

Choose either option — both reach the same team:

  1. In the Beacon app or website: sign in, open Profile, and send us a message asking to delete your account. We confirm by reply.
  2. By email: email support@clinicontact.com from the email address on your account (or include the mobile number you used) with the subject “Delete my account.”
We verify the request comes from you (using your registered email or phone), then delete your account. We complete deletion requests within 30 days and email you to confirm when it is done.

What is deleted

  • Your Beacon profile and contact details (name, email, phone, demographics)
  • Your study applications and their history as shown in your account
  • Any connected health records and vitals you shared (MyChart / patient records, and Apple Health / Health Connect data)
  • Documents you uploaded, your messages, and your notifications

What may be kept, and for how long

A small amount of information may be retained after your account is deleted, only where the law requires it or to protect our rights, consistent with the “Data Retention Periods” section of our Privacy Policy:

  • Records a clinical study team or research site is independently required to keep about your participation, which are held by that team under their own obligations.
  • Information we are legally required to retain, and de-identified or aggregated data that no longer identifies you.
  • Residual copies in secure backups, which are purged on our normal backup cycle.

Delete some data without closing your account

You do not have to delete your whole account to remove specific things. In Profile you can disconnect a health-record source (like MyChart) at any time, and you can email support@clinicontact.com to ask us to remove specific information while keeping your account open.
